A:  You can find forecast sea surface temperatures (SSTs) in the following location on our website:

 http://iri.columbia.edu/climate/forecast/sst/index.html

For the Pacific Ocean portion of the maps, the forecast comes from the NCEP Coupled Model.  Other forecast information can be found from the NCEP Climate Prediction Center (CPC):

 http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/lanina/

A summary of forecasts from numerous institutions can also be found at the Austailian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) website:
