Training Internship and Volunteer Opportunities in Social Service near Kandy

We are looking for interns, trainees and volunteers to assist with scientific and social  research in  Kandy.  Interns should be amidst their post schooling education and who are interested in acquiring competencies.

Interns need to be able to write with precision and be able to communicate in English, Tamil and Sinhala and seeks to understand the world around them, and cares to have a beneficial impact on communities and environment.  Projects, writing assignments, extra-curricular activities may point to your interests. Some skills that are needed are

1. Project work related to Science, Society, or Environment
2. Able to work in a challenging environment
3. Ability to work in a diverse team
4. Willingness to undertake field work among affected
5. Have a good command of written and spoken  
6. Competence in Sinhala, Tamil and other languages
7. IT Skills for administration
8. Ability to maintain office records
9. Ability to work independently and conscientiously
10. Be well organized
