Visiting Us by Bus

There are many buses originating from Kandy Town. Taking the Digana bus is the safest but slowest option which takes an hour due to frequent stops and unneccesary delays. The bus originates near the clocktower bus station in Kandy and you have to get off at the Digana Village complex. This is a small township here soon after you pass Kengalla. There is a large board with the names of various offices in the complex on your right. Cross the road and enter the Digana Village complex. Immediately after you enter the Village complex (soon after the post office and public library) there is a security gate - the maintenance complex is right after you pass the gate - take a few steps on the road going immediately to the right and then a quick left and you shall come to FECT. You may also take the faster public buses to Teldeniya, Medamahanuwara, and Mahiyanagana and these buses can get you to Digana in about 45 minutes. The bus fare is approximately Rs 37/-.

Visiting Us by Automobile

FECT is located in the Digana Village complex that was the former base camp for the construction of the Victoria Reservoir. The village is located about 500 meters from Digana towards Kandy. Immediately after you enter the Village complex (soon after the post office and public library) there is a security gate - the maintenance complex is right after you pass the gate - take a few steps on the road going immediately to the right and then a quick left and you shall come to FECT.
